Auction inspections

Set your maximum bid on evidence, not optimism

Auction vehicles usually sell as-is, with limited access, tight timelines, and no second chances. We inspect what the auction's rules allow us to inspect, document everything with photos and diagnostics, and get you the findings before you bid or complete the purchase.

What we can typically do at auction

  • Full visual inspection of body, paint, glass, tires, and interior
  • Prior-repair, accident, and flood indicators
  • Underbody and rust review as access allows
  • OBD scan and cold-start evaluation where the vehicle can be started
  • Detailed photo documentation and same-day verbal findings for time-sensitive bids
  • Auction-Site Photo Forensics add-on — has this vehicle run through auction before, and in what condition?

Honest limitations to plan around

  • Access rules vary. Some auctions restrict who can enter, when, and what can be touched. We'll confirm the venue's requirements before you book.
  • Road tests are usually not possible. Most auctions don't permit driving; our findings reflect what can be verified stationary.
  • Some vehicles can't be started. If there's no key or battery, we document that and evaluate what remains observable.
  • Timing is tight. Tell us your sale date up front — we prioritize auction deadlines and offer a Same-Day Report Guarantee add-on.

Dealers, brokers & repeat buyers

Buying at auction every week?

We work with dealers, wholesalers, and brokers on a repeat basis — multi-vehicle bundles run 15%+ off, and we can standardize reporting to your workflow. Tell us your volume and the auctions you buy from, and we'll set up a commercial arrangement that fits.
